Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Verity Digital is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. Our conformance target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, in line with the expectations of the EU Web Accessibility Directive for public-sector work. This is a target we work to, not a certified conformance claim — the limitations below say why.

How we assessed this site

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out in June 2026, using automated accessibility scanning (the axe engine, run against the live application in our test suite) together with a manual code-level review of keyboard operability, semantics, form-error association, heading structure and colour contrast. The automated scans run again on every change, so a regression is caught rather than discovered later.

It was assessed by us, not by an independent third party, and no session with real assistive technology has been carried out. The full assessment, including every finding and what remains open, is recorded in our accessibility assessment document, which we can provide on request.

What we've implemented

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy.
• A skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus styles on every interactive element.
• Animations respect your operating system's reduced-motion preference.
• Form fields with associated labels and inline, programmatically-linked error messages.
• A colour palette checked for AA contrast on body text.
• Live regions on the interactive results in the Security Lab demos, so that a screen reader can be notified when a result changes. This is implemented in the markup but, as below, has not been confirmed against a real screen reader.

Known limitations

We are honest about where we are not yet fully conformant:

• No testing with real assistive technology. Our findings come from automated scanning and code review, not from a session with NVDA, VoiceOver or JAWS. We consider a real screen-reader pass necessary before claiming formal conformance, and we have not yet done one.
• Not every page has been individually audited. We assessed a representative page of each type, on the basis that fixes to shared components carry across the site. Content pages reached from a list — individual blog posts, case studies and industry pages, and detail screens inside the portal and admin area — are rendered from those same components but have not each been walked through separately.
• The architecture diagrams and the admin metrics charts are visual by nature; we provide text alternatives but they are summaries, not full equivalents.
• The interactive Security Lab demos are complex widgets. We have built them to be operable and announced, but that has not been verified with a screen reader, and we expect it still needs refinement.
• Downloadable PDF governance documents are generated from text sources but have not been through a full PDF/UA accessibility pass.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please email info@veritydigital.ie with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days and to fix verified barriers promptly. This statement is reviewed with each major release of the site.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your report, please say so at the same address, marking it as an escalation — it will be reviewed by Miroslav Tadej, who is responsible for accessibility here. As a small independent business we are not subject to the public-sector monitoring and reporting arrangements made under the Web Accessibility Directive, so there is no statutory body to which this site can be reported. That makes it more important, not less, that you tell us: we would far rather hear about a barrier than not.
